Rudasaki Do Japan 2016

Day 1: After staying up all night, we embark on our 2 week long self guided tour of Nippon.
We landed in Canada where we killed the time eating Subway and people watching.
Next stop, Japan! We landed at Narita International airport at 4pm, Sunday afternoon, in the future. Security and customs weren’t too bad but it was humid! We navigated our way to the currency exchange station, the fourth floor post office to pick up our pocket wifi, the travel agency to pick up our Japan Rail Pass, and we are on our way to Cerise’s place!
We were greeted by Sebastian.
We bought our first train ticket, look at how proud we are.
Time to find some dinner! Of course, we decided to check out the Trip Advisor’s number one ramen shop in Ikebukuro, Mutekiya.
We got the Nikutama-men, one of the most popular bowls and it was amazing! I didn’t even need to get miso to enjoy a thick and flavorful bowl! The chashu was thick and melted in your mouth! The flavored tamago were delicious. The wait was long but it was worth it.
We met up with Cerise and her friend Nicole at The Hub, which is a local Pub chain for a drink before heading home for the night. Oyasumi!
