Recently, until the end of August there are an interesting exhibition which is produced by Japan’s famous company known as teamLab. “DMM. Planet Art by teamLab” is one of the largest digital art exhibitions in Japan. They have transformed approximately 3,000 sq.m. of the Odaiba area to the labyrinth.

In the event space, there are 4 different themed parts of digital display which you can enjoy and get different experience from. The 4 themes are composed of “Wander through the Crystal Universe”, “Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers”, “Drawing on the Water Surface Created by the Dance of Koi and People-Infinity”, “Soft Black Hole- Your Body Becomes a Space that Influences Another Body”. So let me explain in short what are the concepts of 4 areas.

Wander through the Crystal Universe

This area uses numerous of LEDs in three-dimension which make you feel like losing yourself into the mysterious world.

Floating in the Falling Universe of Flowers

In this area, you can see many butterflies flying in infinite airspace. You can be a part of them by using your smartphone to select a butterfly and release it into the space.

Drawing on the Water Surface

In this area, you can walk into the real water. The surface of water displays a lot of koi carp which independently swim by themselves. When they hit a part of your body, the shape of the carp will change to beautiful flower.

People-Infinity, Soft Black Hole

Something very special about this digital art exhibition is that you can actually become a part of the arts and feel it with your body sensation not only with your heart. They produced a combination of analog and digital system to stimulus your five senses.
