Yamanakako Hanano Miyako Kouen (Lake Yamanaka Flower City Park) is a flower field at Lake Yamanaka next to the glorious Mt.Fuji. Covering 300,000 square meters, this popular destination is filled with various flowers in bloom in each season with Mt. Fuji as the background, sunflowers are best seen in August.

In the park’s “Seiryu-no-Sato” (Home of Spring Water), there is an all-weather type greenhouse “floral dome” and waterfall, which together create a nice floral aquatic sensation.

Summer event holds in Hanano Miyako Kouen(flower park), 1 million zinnias, 220,000 sunflowers, 10,000 sampachiensu are in full glory on very large site of 300,000 spreading through the foot of Fuji.
As zinnia knob collecting experience, corn knob collecting experience, sunflower maze are planned from the beginning of August through the middle of September, come to Yamanakako by all means at this opportunity.
