Japan is an amazing country and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and enjoys cultures, food and history.
There is so much to do in Japan it is hard to figure out where to begin. If you like history and culture I say start in Tokyo and take a Shinkansen (aka Bullet train) to Kyoto but before you reach Kyoto please visit Kamakura.
Near Tokyo there is a great temple of Buddha called Kamakura.
