The Finnish Evangelical Lutheran cathedral of the Diocese of Helsinki. The church was originally built from 1830-1852 as a tribute to the Grand Duke of Finland, Tsar Nicholas I of Russia. It was also known as St Nicholas' Church until the independence of Finland in 1917. It was designed by Carl Ludvig Engel as the climax of his Senate Square layout: it is surrounded by other, smaller buildings designed by him. Wiki
Detailing on the ceiling of Uspenski Cathedral in Helsinki, Finland. This took me too long to process, there were some washed out areas due to sun coming in through the windows. I tried to use the power of HDR to eliminate it, it helped but it wasn't sufficient enough. So after a couple of hours in Photoshop with the clone stamp tool (along with some others) I managed to get my wanted look. A single shot HDR processed in Photomatix, heavily touched up in Photoshop CS4 and finally adjusted in Adobe Lightroom. Here's a previously uploaded photo of the same cathedral.
