The station is on the Biwako Line (Tōkaidō Main Line) of West Japan Railway Company (JR West).In front of Ishiyama Station is Keihan Ishiyama Station (京阪石山駅?, Keihan Ishiyama-eki) on the Ishiyama-Sakamoto Line of Keihan Electric Railway.
