Going abroad might be a kind of dream. Regardless of experience whether you’re a experienced traveler or not, everyone can enjoy staying different countries even if it’s the first time for you.
Why people want to go abroad? As far as I know, it’s might be true that people who work hard tend to want to get away because they get stressed in daily life. It must be the best way to forget their stressful life.
Aside from that, there are some reasons I would consider, for instance, studying abroad has become more and more popular in my country Japan. Because of this, they want to improve their English abilities or expect that they can make friends from different countries. I strongly believe that it would be nice to have a amazing experience there. It’s hard to say but the reason why people want to study more is that most Japanese consider that English education in Japan is ineffective to have conversation in English, unfortunately.
On the other hand, some people go abroad in order to earn money. As I’ve been living in Australia more than seven months, I’ve met many people who have the same reason. As you might know, minimum wages between Australia and Japan are totally different. For example, it’s about $9 in Japan but it’s about $17 in Australia. Of course, cost of living between them are quite different but it must be one of the main reasons for them.
Interestingly enough, others have different reasons. Some of them simply enjoy living in foreign countries. They love to live near beach, nature or local places, and they also enjoy talking with local people. Others might be influenced by culture or people, such as music, art, movie, sports, famous people and so on.
Although people have a variety of reasons to go abroad, they can experience and learn a lot of things then. If you have never been to other countries or want to go abroad, I strongly recommend going there. It’s not easy to adapt new surrounding but you can discover something interesting that you haven’t known before.
