Enjoy EDO Period Hot Spring All Day!!

Yusukes

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari is an Onsen theme park founded in 2003 as the first onsen (hot spring) theme park in Japan. It’s really recommendable if you have had these concerns in Tokyo “No time to visit remote Onsen (hot spring) area” or “What should I do in the rainy day.” You can have a enjoyable and exclusive time all day since it consists of a variety of hot springs, restaurants, festival activities, accommodation, salon, etc. Additionally, an atmosphere in the facility seems like in Edo period (about 400 years ago), so you feel as if you slipped back in time.

Hot spring

There are many kinds of hot springs including natural hot springs, indoor bath, outdoor bath and foot bath. One of the most appealing points is the foot bath area which is themed by Japanese traditional garden. When it comes to Japanese private baths, you may hesitate to enjoy hot springs naked. But that’s culture, and it’s of course separated for gentlemen and ladies. You don’t need to share your nudity in the foot bath section.

Japanese Kimono (Japanese style bathrobe)

Japanese Kimono is called “Yukata” and is usually worn to summer festival and as bathrobes. You can experience the Yukata (the admission fee includes the Yukata renting fee) and there are many kinds of fabric designs in Yukata, so pick up your favorite one. Then, enjoy activities, foot barh and restaurants with it. You will feel like JAPANESE.

Amusement

Have you seen Japanese summer festivel before? There are many attractions which you can generally find in only summer festival in Japan, but they are here throughout the year. What the most popular among visitors from overseas is Ninja Star Throwing. Be a ninja and aim at the target with the ninja star.

Restaurant

The facility has a lot of restaurants such as typical Japanese restaurants, Ramen restaurants, Japanese style pub and dessert cafes.
