Fuji Rock Festival
Fuji Rock Festival is an annual rock festival held in Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture. There are moreover 200 Japanese and International musicians, performing the largest outdoor music event in Japan.
There are seven main stages and other minor stages here. In this year (2016) The festival will run from 2016, Friday 22 until 2016, Sunday 24 July.
The festival is a free shuttle bus ride from JR Echigo-Yuzawa station. From Tokyo, you can take JR Shinkansen from Tokyo station to Echigo-Yuzawa station for 6,490 yen (one-way reserved seat) and Car parking is also available for 3,000 yen per day near festival site area.
Summer Sonic Festival
Summer Sonic Festival is an annual two or three day rock festival when making at the same time in Osaka and Chiba. Many Japanese rock musicians from both major and indie companies including international musicians are making this popular music festival.
In this year (2016) The festival will run from 2016, Saturday 20 and 2016, Sunday 21 August, both Osaka and Chiba.
For Osaka, the festival held in Maishima Sports Island.
●from Nishikucho Station (JR kanjo-line) then, take a bus No.81 and get out of a bus when arrive Maishima Sport Island station. (approx. 35 mins)
●from Nishikucho Station (JR kanjo-line) then, you’ll change to JR yemesaki-line to Sakurashima station and take a bus No.2 (approx. 15 mins)
For Chiba, the festival held in Chiba Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe.
●from Tokyo Station or 12 minutes from Soga Station to Kaihim Makuhari Station on the JR Keiyo Line. 5 minutes walk to Makuhari Messe.
●from Akihabara Station to Makuhari Hongo Station on the JR Sobu Line. 15 minutes by bus to Makuhari Messe.
Rock in Japan Festival
The Rock in Japan Festival is an annual three day rock festival held at the Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki.
In this year (2016) The festival will run from 2016, Saturday 6 and 2016, Sunday 7, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 August.
The festival held in Hitachi Seaside Park where you can access from Kachida station (JR joban-line) then, you can take a shuttle bus to festival site area.
