The Grand Place (French) or Grote Markt (Dutch) is the central square of Brussels. Arguably the most beautiful square in Europe according to a Dutch poll in 2010. It is surrounded by opulent guildhalls and two larger edifices, the city's Town Hall, and the Breadhouse building containing the Museum of the City of Brussels. The square measures 68 by 110 metres, and it is a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site.
